The Production Process

  2. Fermenting: Learn how our proprietary yeast strains begin the transformation process.

  3. Distilling: Observe the careful distillation process that separates the spirit, creating the unique character of Ron Abuelo.

Casks Aging and Tasting

Next, we move to the tranquil bodega where the magic of aging takes place.

  • Barrel Visit: Tour the silent halls where the rum matures patiently in carefully selected oak barrels, developing its complex flavors and rich color.

  • The Moment of Truth: This is your chance to sample the different rums produced at Hacienda San Isidro, guided by our experts. Taste the history and quality that goes into every bottle of Ron Abuelo.

The tour concludes with an authentic taste of Panamanian hospitality:
