GUAYMI INDIANS VILLAGES & SNORKELING

 

Explore the history of the archipelago and experience the local indigenous culture in the Guaymi Indians Village on some of the many islands of Bocas del Toro. Guaymi – are descendants of the indomitable tribes of Natá, Escoria, Urracá, Paris. They are of strong build, their skin is dark, flat nose, thick lips and straight hair. In Panamanian history, the cacique Guaymí “Urracá” stands out as a skilled warrior. This symbol of courage maintained and challenged the best captains of the monarch Carlos V, kept in check and defeated characters such as: Pizarro, Hernando De Soto, Espinosa. For this reason, monuments erected in his memory exist in Panama.After lunch, you will snorkel through vivid coral reefs.
